TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Entrants
- The Competition is open to all residents of South Africa.
- Directors, members, partners, agents, consultants, tenants or employees of WWF-SA, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter this competition.
- Participants under the age of 18 will require the prior written consent of their parent or guardian before entering this competition.
- Term
- The competition opens on 5 December 2025 and closes at midnight on 26 December 2025.
- The Prize
- Each Prize is a WWF hamper, including branded bag, cap, water bottle, keyring, coasters and panda plushy, worth R710.00 in total.
- The Prize includes postage / courier service to the entrant’s given address, provided such address is in South Africa. In the event that the prize consists of a voucher, it will be sent to the winner by electronic mail. The winner must provide identification and sign on receipt of the Prize when it is delivered / received.
- In the event that the Prize specified in the Competition becomes unavailable for any reason, WWF-SA may substitute a Prize of like or equal value.
- Entries
- Entrants may enter and stand a chance to win the competition by
- commenting on one or all three of the “Name these spots” social media posts published on WWF South Africa’s Facebook or Instagram pages between 5 and 19 December 2025; and
- correctly identifying all three iconic natural places shown in the respective posts. For example, answering Western Cape would not be accepted, but Table Mountain would be.
- WWF-SA takes no responsibility for any inability of an entrant to enter, complete, continue or conclude the competition due to equipment or technical malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnection or otherwise.
- By entering this competition the entrant accepts the full terms, conditions and rules of this competition and agrees to abide by these rules and any requirements and/or proceedings issued by WWF-SA in regard to the competition.
- Entrants may enter and stand a chance to win the competition by
- The Winner
- The Prize will be awarded to three entrants (who correctly identified the locations) drawn at random (overseen by an independent auditor, accountant, attorney or advocate), and the Winners will be notified by WWF-SA via private message within 24 hours of the Prize draw (to be conducted during January 2026). If the email address or social media handle provided by the entrant is not valid, they will forfeit the Prize, and another winner will be selected on the same basis.
- In the event that for reasons beyond the control of WWF-SA, the draw cannot take place on a date specified, WWF-SA will conduct the draw as soon as reasonably possible and notify entrants of such new draw date.
- The Winner may be invited to be photographed, interviewed or participate in other marketing activity conducted by WWF-SA. The Winner has the right to decline such invitation.
- The results of the competition will be verified by an independent auditor, accountant, attorney or advocate selected by WWF-SA.
- The Winner accepts the Prize entirely at their own risk and indemnifies WWF-SA in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, or property damage that may occur in connection with the Prize to the fullest extent allowed by law.
- The Prize is exclusively for the Winner and is neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash or another Prize, and must be accepted by the Winner within one week of being notified of winning the Prize or they will forfeit the Prize.
- Where a diligent attempt to contact the Winner fails or the winner elects not to take the Prize or is unable to take the Prize for whatever reason, WWF-SA reserves the right to either select another Winner or not award a Prize at all, in its sole discretion.
- If, after notification, the Prize is not collected or receipt of it taken within one week of the winner being announced, it will be regarded as forfeit.
- By submitting any entries containing any personal information of another person (as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act no 4 of 2013), the entrant warrants that they have obtained the necessary consents, proof of which must be provided to WWF-SA upon request.
- By entering this competition, the Entrant acknowledges that their personal information will be shared with the Promoter and its agents to the extent necessary to conduct the competition and for prizes to be delivered to winners.
- By entering this competition and submitting your personal information, you authorise the Promoter to process and retain your personal information in accordance with South African data protection and customer protection laws and regulations.
- Entrants may request from WWF-SA details of their information held and to update and / or correct their information.

- WWF-SA reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any entry and to refuse the entry of any person who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with any process in redeeming the Prize.
- WWF-SA may refuse the redemption of any Prize in the event of any irregularities or fraudulent activities.
