Get ready for our winter auction

Here’s your chance to support WWF’s work to protect people and nature with our exclusive online auction.

One-of-a-kind experiences, curated Conservation Champion wines, a romantic breakaway and a chance to help the endangered African penguin are among the lots that come under the hammer this month in our latest online auction set to take place from 26 to 31 August 2021.

Warm up your fingers and get ready to place those bids knowing that all proceeds will go towards WWF’s work for people and nature. You can bid on any one of a number of exciting lots:

Adopt-a-penguin-nest at Boulders Beach, Simon’s Town. African penguins are under pressure due to a variety of reasons, among them a lack of food for their chicks and overheating due to climate change. One way to help penguins is by sponsoring a nest sensor which monitors the temperature of the nest. If the nest becomes too hot, a team is deployed to remove the eggs and chicks and hand rear them until they can be released back into the wild. The successful bidder will also have access to a dashboard, tracking the humidity of your nest and the opportunity to accompany WWF on a visit to the nest from the boardwalk.

A romantic stay at Boschendal Estate in the Western Cape. Enjoy a luxurious two-night stay for two people at one of our WWF Conservation Champion wine farms. Your stay includes dinner, bed and breakfast, as well as the chance to sit back, relax and take in the natural splendour. Join an experienced guide on a morning farm tour or explore the wine estate on foot or mountain bike, following trails that take you through orchards and mountain fynbos. This lot includes a complimentary wine tasting.

A premium wine tasting for four at Boschendal. Your tasting includes award-winning wines, as well as insights into this premium South African export, along with a deli hamper packed with farm-fresh goodies.

A 14Kt white gold rhino horn pendant by the Nebü Rhino Collection. Bid on this pendant and wear it as a symbol of the fight for rhinos and against illegal wildlife trade. Inspired by the rhino horn's strength and vulnerability.

A Noel Ashton bronze rhino sculpture. As an artist Noel Ashton sees this timeless work as a symbol of the rich cultural legacy of Africa that embodies a deeper connection with, and reverence for, this magnificent animal of Africa.

Curated cases of wine from some of South Africa’s most sustainable and award-winning wine farms, renowned for farming in harmony with nature.

A snorkelling adventure for two people in a marine protected area.
