Youth voice for the One Planet City Challenge

Calling all young people who would like to shape cities for a more climate friendly future.

WWF, ICLEI Africa, Resilient40 and African Climate Reality Project invite youth to join a workshop on 6 May where they will be working with a group of their peers to design future cities that are climate smart and climate resilient.

The One Planet City Challenge workshop forms part of a series of workshops which aim to build a youth cohort to engage with their cities on limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees and develop an urban youth manifesto that will be launched and presented at the WWF Pavilion at the COP 26 climate change talks in November 2021.

The workshop will create a platform for engagement and knowledge sharing between youth and city officials.  Our youth have the power to influence climate action: now’s the chance to use it.
