A renowned struggle stalwart, Gordhan was a highly regarded and respected voice of reason in volatile times.
 
Gordhan’s firm stance against corruption and wasteful state expenditure made him a most fitting keynote speaker at WWF’s 2017 Living Planet Conference, which focused on sharing solutions to one of our planet's most pressing challenges - waste. His support at the time was a great privilege, and we will forever remember his leadership and wisdom.
