EARTH HOUR

NATURE IS ALWAYS ON

Nature is remarkable. It provides us with all the essential services we need to survive and thrive, such as food, fresh water, clean energy and beautiful outdoors spaces to work and play. Now nature needs you.

Under pressure from climate change and degradation, the next 7 years are crucial in determining the future for nature - and people. 2023 must be a year of change.

On 25 March, people from all over the world will come together for 60 minutes in support of the planet. This is your time to connect with nature and show the world how you're spending the #BiggestHourForEarth. You could prepare a meat-free meal, go walking in nature, clean your local river or beach, or sign up to take climate action.

Make your pledge below and you could win a special nature prize.

PLEDGE FOR NATURE (AND STAND TO WIN A NATURE EXPERIENCE)

* indicates required
Create your own or choose from the pledge ideas below.

I give WWF consent to send me email communication about Earth Hour and related WWF activities.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

By pledging, you commit to taking a moment away from everyday distractions and spending 60 minutes taking nature-positive action. How you choose to do this is up to you (scroll down for more pledge-spiration). Around the world, people just like you will be doing the same - and there is tremendous power in collective action.

One lucky WWF supporter will win an amazing AfriCamps Boutique Glamping getaway voucher for up to 5 guests at any one of 14 locations across South Africa. There are also WWF shop vouchers to the value of R1000 for five more supporters (T's & C's apply).

Don't forget, in the run-up to and on Saturday, 25 March, to post your nature pics and videos online. Tag @WWFSouthAfrica and use the hashtags: #NatureIsAlwaysOn and #MyHourForEarth
