WWF’s position as a conservation organisation, with considerable knowledge of ecological systems and an understanding of business approaches and market mechanisms, means we can play a unique role in corporate partnerships.
We offer leading scientific thinking; we provide access to technical expertise; we act as a neutral convening power; and we can add credibility to business initiatives. While WWF does not have all the solutions, neither does business. But with WWF’s ability to interpret the science and our ecological systems thinking, we can work with business to craft solutions to sustainability. In partnering with business, WWF is working towards delivering its conservation goals.

From over 50 years of working in South Africa, WWF has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience. Our technical expertise covers terrestrial and marine ecosystems, water catchment management, forestry, agriculture, climate change modelling and response, environmental policy and business strategy. We regularly publish our thought leadership in reports and position papers.
