We will switch off Orlando stadium at 8.30pm and be treated to a candle-light concert by the Grammy award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir and the Bala Brothers. Gates open at 6pm and the concert is free. This event is kindly sponsored by Nedbank and supported by the City of Johannesburg.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT:
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
No. The concert is free, but space is limited, so please ensure you arrive in good time, from 6pm onwards. The show starts at 7.30pm.
TRANSPORT
There are two main options for getting to the concert:
- Park n Ride
A bus service will be available from Constitution Hill at the Park and Ride Facilities. The buses will leave for the Orlando West Regional Park at 6pm and 6.30pm. After the show buses will leave the venue for Constitution Hill from 9.45pm onwards.
- Parking at the venue
If you're traveling by car, car-pool with friends to reduce your environmental impact. Safe parking spaces are available at the venue.
AT THE CONCERT
How long will it take to get through the gates and security checks?
As with any major event, allow yourself plenty of time to get through the gates and security checkpoints. Gates are expected to open at 6.30pm.
What should I bring with me?
Picnic basket, camping chair or picnic blanket, candle, beverages (no alcohol), cellphone (with charged battery), suitable clothing and footwear. There are no ATM machines within the venues, so bring cash.
Is there food available to purchase?
Yes.
What bathroom facilities are there available?
There will be toilet facilities on site.
Will the concert go ahead if it rains?
